The steep grade in this backyard — The steep grade in this backyard left little room for use and created constant upkeep headaches. Our team was brought in to reclaim the space and restore function.

We began excavation — We began excavation to transform the steep slope and make room for a functional two-tiered retaining wall.

As the first tier of the Rosetta Grand — As the first tier of the Rosetta Grand Ledge wall takes shape, careful attention to detail is critical—each large stone must be set with precision to ensure the wall is both durable and beautifully constructed.

Backfilling with stone — Backfilling with stone adds essential support behind the wall and helps retain the slope. Drainage pipes are also installed to promote effective stormwater management and protect the wall over time.

Cutting the stone — Cutting the stone ensured a tight, accurate fit between each piece—essential for both structural integrity and a refined, finished look.

To improve functionality — To improve functionality, steps were built along the wall, offering easy access to the area between the two levels.
